After growing up in the Boise area, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. I have 2 years of hospital experience as well as 15 years working in pediatrics from the age of 1 month to the enjoyable age of 25 years. In addition, I have pursued further training in a wide variety of orthopedic and sports injuries as well as education related to disordered eating and dysfunctional exercise. As a licensed physical therapist in the state of Idaho, I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as an active participant in a collaborative network of Eating Disorder Professionals of Idaho. I also have lived experience in the world of competitive sports, eating disorders, and compulsive exercise.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, biking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my husband, two Labrador retrievers, and my three amazing daughters when they are in town.
